crowd of nearly 50, Phyllis
Campbell read the original
account of the wedding 25
years ago and Carol Penhale
and Marilyn Haw put on a
wedding skit.
Rev. Reddech recited a
poem and then presented
Peggy with an Irish linen wall
hanging with a very ap-
propriate poem printed on it
and also money pinned on it.
A barbecue was held to
finish off the evening and it
was reported everyone had a
very enjoyable evening.

The monthly meeting of the
Bayfield. Baptist W.M.F. was
held Tuesday evening in the
basement of the Church.
The new officers were in
charge ''and are: president,
Mrs. Muriel Snider; vice-
president, Mrs. Cathi Cullen;
secretary -treasurer, Mrs.
Phyllis Nicholson; and quilt
committee; Mrs. Gladys
Talbot, Mrs. Carleen Phoenix
and Mrs. Suzanne Spiers.
With Cathi Cullen at the
piano, the meeting was
opened with a Hymn followed
with prayer by Mrs. Kerr.
Scripture was read in unison,
and the minutes were read
and adopted.

Bayfield Baptist Church were
well attended with the Pastor,
Rev. Brian Harrison
speaking at both. At the
evening service he continued
the Study from the Book of
Ephesians•using as his theme
the Hymn -- "More like- the
Master I would__ ever be",
stressing that their Christian
life should start by irritating
the saviour. A Fireside was
enjoyed following the Service
with the Church ladies ser-
ving refreshments.
