Presentation of the prayer
books to the members of last
year's confirmation can-
didates, a gift from the St.
James ACW, was made by

The harvest offerings taken
to the. front of the church,
blessed by the rector, were
later taken to the Chilren's
Aid Society in Goderich.
The flowers on the altar
were given to the Glory of
God' by Elizabeth Cranston
for the Kennedy family in
loving memory of their
mother, Mabel K. Kennedy.
Next Sunday Oct. 3, Holy
Communion and Dedication
of Silver Ciborium will be
held in memory of Adella
Cooper, wife of Charlie
Cooper. All relatives and
former friends are most
welcome to come; we are
hoping to have Charlie down
for the service from Midland.

Mrs. Maud Middleton was
the mother of Ernest Lee and
wife of the late Charles C. Lee
of Goderich. Mrs. Maud
