For her wedding, the bride

clover lace over pompadour
» satin, featuring an angle-

collar against a U-neckline,
i sheer lace sleeves and a
chapel -length train trimmed
with dainty tiffany lace. Her
r veil of silk illusion was
trimmed to match her train.
She carried a colonial
bouquet of red roses, pink
: miniature carnations, yellow
daisies, blue tinted
stephanotis, coral and . ;tight
greeriniature carnations
and baby's breath.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Lynn McCullough, sister-in-
-law of the groom, Stratford.
She wore a pink halter dress
of trevira interlock knit
topped with a multi -flocked
nylon sheer jacket. She wore
a picture hat trimmed with a
band' of pinkto match her
dress and carried a white
basket of white daisies.,
baby's breathttinted to match
her dress and white.

Bridesmaids were Miss Joy
Walsh, Kitchener and Mrs.
Dianne Foster, Sheppardton,
friends of the bride; Miss
Glenyce McClinchey, sister of
the bride. Flower girl was
Sandra Deveau,cousin of the
bride. They were gowned in
dresses of blue, yellow, peach
and green respectively, in
styles similar to that worn by
the matron of honor. They
carried white baskets of
white daisies and baby's
breath tinted to match their
dresses with white
streamers.
Best man was Doug
McCullough, brother of the
groom, Stratford. Ushers
were Bruce McKenzie, cousin
of the groom, Clinton; Doug
McClinchey, brother of the
bride; and Steve McCullough,
brother of the groom.
Ringbearer was Scott
McCullough, brother of the
groom.
The wedding reception was

a four -tiered wedding cake
topped with doves and swan
pillars and trimmed with
roses of various colors,
centred the bride's table.

The bride is the daughter of
Mar. and Mrs. T. Orville
Workman of RR 3, Kippen
and the groom Is thA son of
Mrs. Agnes West and the late
Norman Ford of RR 1,
Rodney, Ontario.
The bride wore a gown of
white taffeta with a. nylon
organza overskirt accented
with deep lace and tiny plink
bows, and mandarin neck.and„
an empire waistline with a
full chap`e`l" train. Her.
Juliette cap was enhanced
with a sills illusion veil which
had been worn by her mother.
She carried a bouquet of
white fiji mums and blue
mums.
The maid of honour,
Dorothy Parker, Arkona,
wore a light blue polyester
knit gown with a matching
jacket and an attached hood.
She carried a bouquet the
same as the bride.
The bridesmaids, Elizabeth
Thompson, Clinton; Joyce
Workman and June Ford,
sisters-in-law of the bride,
wore the same gowns as the
maid of honour and carried
the same bouquets.

the East Coast, the couple
will take up residence on the
groom's farm at RR 1,
Rodney.

at Story Book Gardens in
London.
Mr. Scott Parkes has taken
up residence in the new
trailer at the Jervis game
farm.
Sorry to report Mrs.
Michael Stock is a patient in
the Goderich Hospital. We
wish her well.
It has come to that time of
year again when the school
bells ring. Many children will
be glad to start school, others
won't, but we all wish them a
good year ahead in all their
work. Hope the teachers are

nesday afternoon. Tran-
sportation was provided by
the van and twelve volunteer
drivers which was greatly
appreciated by the residents.

Clintonian Club meets
The Clintonians held their
September meeting in the
council chambers, the
president, Pearl Cummings
opened the meeting with a
poem followed by the creed
and the Lord's Prayer, in
unison.
The secretary, Edna
Adams read the minutes of
the last meeting and Viola
Lampman presented the
treasurer's report. The roll
call was answered by "where
S you went for your holidays".
Irene Glazier gave the
flower and card report for the
summer months. Several
carnations and cards had
been sent out to the sick and
the shut-ins and 35 home calls
were made and 11 hospital
calls.
Pearl Cummings looked
after the dutch auction with
Violet Sturgeon, Lou
Falconer and Leona Lockhart
winning articles.

meeting.
