all of the touring per-
formances.
Last Wednesday, the
company of 40, including the
11 piece orchestra and
technicians, returned to the
theatre for the repeat
engagement. Although -last
week's attendance figures
were net as overwhelming as
the first week, Managing
Director James Murphy was
satisfied with the overall
record. He anticipates
another sell-out week at the
Playhouse this week.

Monday, August 23 in a semi-
final baseball game. They
won the first game of the best
out of three with a score of 7 -
Dave Bird pitched and was
later relieved by Jeff Cox.

Thursday, August 26. They
lost their first game of the
playoffs, 15-14. All team
members played a good
game.
Terri Johnston pitched his
best game of the season.
They played again. on
August 30. but results were
not available at press time.
Arnold and Walter " Bell's
senior girls won »their first
game of the playoffs on
Tuasday, August 24. Vicky
Oke pitched a 15-5 win over
Hullet with seven strike -outs.
Janice Orr was another star
of the game. picking up some
hot ones at shortstop.
All team members should
be complimented for playing
an outstanding game.
Holmesville won the second
game of the best two out of
three. putting Landesboro out
of the finals on August 26.
They won by a score of 10-8.
Lee Anne Bell, who brought in
five rtins, and pitcher. Vicky
Oke. were the stars of the
game.
The team played Ben -
miller, in the finals on
Tuesday. August 31. Parents
participation would be very
much appreciated at the final
games. Come on out and
cheer your township's
players on to victory.
