crepe. They all wore picture
hats trimmed with roses
made from their dress fabric
-and carried 'nosegays of
sweetheart roses, Shasta
daisies and blue starburst.
Cal Fremlin, Clinton. was
,,best best man. The ushers, Ray
Burns, Toronto and . Brian
Murray of Mitchell, are all
friends of the bridal couple.

After the ,ceremony
everyone enjoyed dinner at
the Clinton Community
Centre, catered by Mrs,
Valma Miller- The bride's
table looked lovely, ,centred
by a three -tiered round cake
topped with a floral
arrangement similar- to- that
of the attendants. Streamers,
miniature brides and grooms
and white candles com-
plemented the table.
The guests were welcomed
in a receiving line consisting
of the couples parents and
members of the bridal party.
The brides mother chose a
long gown of shades of blue
and other pastels on silk
organza with cape sleeves
and obi sash. The groom's
mother assisted in ivory
polyester with accents of pink
and green. Both mothers
wore gardenias.
After dinner- everyone
enjoyed the evening dancing
to the music of "Shannon'
with supper being served at
midnight.
The bride and groom are
residing in Clinton and their
guests were present from
Manitoulin Island, Lindsay,
Toronto, London, Brucefield,
Clinton, Goderich and
Seaforth.

wedding of Neal HRegetnan
and Sandy Slotegraaf.
Neal, of Waterloo is -the son
of Rev. and Mrs. C. Hegeman.
of Veendaal. Holland, who
were unable to attend the
wedding. Sandy is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Sidney Slotegraaf of RR 2,
Clinton. . -
The bride was given in
marriage by her father. Rev.
Kooistra of Waterloo was in
charge of the double ring
ceremony and soloist Mrs.
Peggy Slotegraaf was , ac-
companied by organist Dick
Roorda of Brqcefield.
The bride wore a long,
empire -waisted gown of soft
flowing white jersey. White
rosette lace bordered the
round neckline with lace
netting filling the neck
trimmed with stand-up
collar. The two-tiered, floor -
length veil trimmed with the
scalloped . rosette lace was
held in Place by a headband-
trimmed with- rosette lace
and dotted with small white
pearls. She carried a small
cascade of white daisies, pink
sweetheart roses and dried
baby's breath.
Lynn Cooper, friend of the
bride from Orillia, was the
maid of honour. She 'along
with attendants Dianne
Slotegraaf. niece of the bride
from Cambridge and Helen

Steenstra friend of the bride

crepe gowns of lime green
with scalloped necklines and
a full flounce at the bottom.
They wore Large white floppy
hats trimmed with green
ribbon and carried bouquets
similar to the bride's but with
pink carnations.

Slotegraaf, niece of the bride
from Clinton wore a soft lime
green dress with front lapel in
Swiss eyelet. She carried a
small bouquet the same as
the bridesmaids'.
Brother of the groom, Ben
Hegeman of Waterloo was the
best man and Dave. Lockhart,
friend of the groom from
Kincardine and Pete
Slotegraaf brother of the
bride from Clinton were
ushers.
Following the wedding, a
reception was held at the
Clinton Legion Hall. The
couple left later for a wedding
trip to Grand Rapids,
Michigan and they also plan.

the Christian Reformed
Church, Lacombe, Alberta on
July 24, 1976 with Rev. Niel
Vriend of Nerriandia, Alberta._
officiating at the double ring
ceremony.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Martin Steenstra,
Clinton and the bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs,,
Klaas Wierenga, Lacombe,
Alberta.
The organist for the
ceremony was Mrs. Peral
Minders ma.
The maid of honour was
Margaret Steenstra of Clinton
and the bridesmaid was
Diane Wierenga of Lacombe,
Alberta and the flower girl
ws Tara Epple also of
Lacombe,
The --best man was Jim
Stendebach of Kelowna, B.C.
and the usher was Andy
Wierenga of Lacombe and the
ring bearer was Derrick
Poster of Clinton.
After a reception held at
Swain's Juniper Lodge,
Lacombe. the couple took a
wedding trip to British
Columbia and the western
states.
The couple are residing in
Clinton.
