Mrs. Ron Taylor underwent
surgery on her back. in
Stratford Hospital last
Wednesday. Her friends and
neighbours wish her a good
recovery.
Anne Marie Heard returned
home on Thursday from a
holiday with relatives in
Naicam. Saskatchewan.
Terry Heard had the
misfortune to cut his finger
rather badly Saturday
evening, requiring several
stitches to close the cut.
Mr. and Mrs. Doug McAsh
returned on Friday from a
very enjoyable camping and
fishing holiday at Grundy
Provincial Park near Parry
Sound.
Mr. and Mrs. Barry Taylor
and Mr. and Mrs. Allan
Hayter and their families
spent a few days recently in
Niagara Falls.

Anne will be performed at
the Seaforth District High
School auditorium. which was
the scene last year of a sold
out house for the Grand Bend
company's production of
Hello Dolly. Tickets for the
matinee at 3 p.m. and the
evening performance at 8
p.m. are available at The
Huron Expositor in Seaforth,
The Brussels Post, the
Clinton News -Record and the
Blyth Standard at 54 for
adults and 52 for children.
Tickets are on sale now for
both performances. All
proceeds. after the
Playhouse's production costs.

The Clinton post office is
now selling series five of the
Olympic Sculptured Stamp
Sets. This is the last series Of
stamps and depicts the
opening of the Olympics with -
the torch. the flag ceremony
and the victory.
*the sets are sold with three
sculptured stamps in a case
at a cost of $750 for the gold
set. 560 for the silver set and
530 for the bronze. The mixed
set, with one stamp in each
metal is selling for 5300.
The stamps are also being
sold as singles. The gold
stamp is worth $350a. the
silver. $25 and the bronze.
$12.50.
Dick Dickston, postmaster
of the Clinton post office said
that the gold set in the first
series is now being bought by
collecters for as much as
$ L600. The set sold for 5750.
Mr. Dickson urges anyone
interested in buying any of
the sculptured stamps to
place their order quickly al
the post office. as the series is
limited and the supply does
run out quickly.
