when the Dick's bought the present Village Guild, The silver has come
from estates and has been brought in by deters throughout the area.
The owners Qf Lance's Antiques are interested in art works. While Mr. Lance
devotes his time looking into old oil, water and Currier and Ives prints, Mrs.
Lance carries some beautiful old handmade quilts, mats and rugs.
Village Guild gift shop In Bayfield carries a unique and beautiful line of antique ivory
to china from the far east. During Mr, and Mrs. Dick's travels to over 100 countries the
wners of the shop have picked up many of their pieces.
Although Totality really specializes in floral timingements, owner William Gammage is
also very interested in rare antique pieces. Thlk asbwood kitchen cabinet is one of his
most beautiful pieces: Just to the right of the cabinet stands an ancient dinner -gong which
supposedly came to Canada at the turn of the century from an old Scottish castle.
Pine and cherry furniture are likely to be found in Amy's
Antiques in Bayfield. However Mi', and Mrs. Ai Amy are
also interested, in small china pieces and collections.
Amy's also carries a large selection of cranberry glass
pieces including 'an unusual camp -banquet lamp in
cranberry glass from the late 1800's.
