IVIunnings A life -time resident of the Clinton area, Benjamin W. Munnings died July 14, 1976 at the Gerri-Care • Nursing Home, Palmerston. He was 86. Vanastra Baseball The Vanastra Super Chicks played an exhibition game on July 12 against Holrnesville. The Super Chicks won 15-6. On July 14 the Chicks played Auburn in Auburn. Winning pitcher was Laurie Wheeler. Highlights of this game were a homerun and double play by Karen McEwing and a double play by Darlene Weir which gave the Chicks a 16 to 14 victory. On July 19 the Super Chicks played Blyth in Vanastra. Lois Herman was the winning pitcher.
