The Campbells, the
Rutherfords and the
McKnights gathered On

Gregor Ware in Bayfield.
This special occasion was
held in honour of Billie
Campbell's sister, Mary
Rutherford, who recently
came to Canada. from
Newtongragge, Scotland.
Ths picnic tables were
beautifully decorated with
red streamers, red roses and
Canadian flags. The head'
table was adorned with, a
huge :cake oft' which was
printed. "Wetcorne
Mary.” The cornealag of tire
cake represented Canada,
Great Britain, Scotland and
the United States.
Mr. Cliff McLellan as the
master of ceremonies for the
afternoon programme.
Leonard McKnight gave a
very humorous welcome
speech -to the $cottish visitors
and Mrs. Mary Rutherford
responded with a very fitting
thank -you reply on behalf of
the Scottish folks.
