The Colts, who are now at 11 wins and one loss, came back to tie.the score 1-1 in the third. Don Bartliff walked with one out and after stealing second, Doc ?e! singled Don home. Hanover grabbed the lead again" with two runs in the fifth inning on three singles and another Colt error. Clinton narrowed the score to 3-2 with a run in the bottoiii of the fifth inning. Again with one out, Don Bartliff got a hit by a pitch. A.double by Doc Millar scored Bartliff all the way from first base. The Colts tied the game 34 in the sixth when Butch Fleet reached first base on a Hanover error. He stole second base and then scored on two ground outs. In the seventh inning, Han- over took the lead again for the third time in the game on a disputed call by Colt catcher Butch Fleet, who was ejected from the game on the call by umpire Hugh Flynn. 4, With two out and a runner on second base and two strikes on the batter. Stew Mustard threw the controversial pitch. Jiro Struthers of Hanover struck at the hail1 fouling it , Off according to catcher Fleet. The Colts next home gaine was last night against Chesley. Tupperville will be playing here at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening for an. exhibition game. The Colts lost to an all-star team, 4 -0 -in Sarnia on Sunday afternoon. The team was made up of the southera counties, Tupperville, Port Lambton, Cartwright, Dresden and Wilkesport. Cam MacDonald pitched for the Colts, but lost 4-0 and were out hit 8-6. Atoms soccer team The Clinton Atoms defeated St. Columban 3-0 on June 24 with Jeff Corrie scoring two goals and Ricky Gautreau scoring One. Half time score was a 0-0 tie.
