They carried baskets of white daisies, tinted miniature carnations and white stardust. Each girl wore a silver necklace, a gift from the bride. Miss Debbie O'Brien of Goderich, the flower girl, was dressed in white. identical to the bride, and Paul Pierce of Blyth, a cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. The groomsman was Will Harrett of Clinton, friend of the groom and ushers were: Dave Aiken, cousin of the groom; Larry Howatt, brother of the bride and Cal Scotchmer, friend of the groom. The reception was held at Family Paradise where the guests were received by the parents of the bride and groom. Special guests honored at the wedding were the bride's. grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Noll of Hensall and Mrs. Mabel Miller of Wingham. the groom's grandmother. The couple travelled to the south for their honeymoon, and on their return, took up residence at 287 Egerton St. in London. The bride is employed at the London Free Press and the groom is .i tnployed' t the -Royal Bank. Prior to her marriage, the bride was guest of honor at many showers put on by her girlfriends at the- London Free Press, her cousin Joanne Hodgert •,of Kirkton and Mrs. Robert Shaddick. for neighbours and friends. Also before the wedding. the couple was honoured at a dinner party given by Mrs. Lawrie Slade. Rev. Stephens conducted the service. The Kippen junior choir and Brucefield choir each provided special nutilbers accompanied by Gayle Horton. Grant Jones and Karen McGregor. Following the service everyone enjoyed a smorgasboard dinner. Margaret Aldington, daughter of Mrs. E. Aldington. Clinton, graduated from Western University on Tune : with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
