The Club enjoy racing. cruising
and endeavour to promote the
Bayfield Harbour and boating
industry.
Bayfield Village Marina is a
self suppoating endeavour and at
no time will any of the village tax
dollars become engulfed in the
Marina... ,1't is operated and ex-
panded by funds from the
membership in the Yacht Club.
Guests at the River Hotel would receive calling cards like this In the earlier days. Prices were much
less in those days too. with a room for one night casting a dollar.

Do you remember? If you do. a
few ' thousand gallons of water
have flowed under Bayfield
bridges since you were born.
Ba7ield's 1926 fiftieth

Long Hill, Thompson's Mill -hill

grocery store and trading it for
your lanterns and lamps: the
grounds of the Rectory gay with
Japanese ' lanterns for the
Anglican Church garden parties:
hitching rides on the back of the
, farmer's sleighs; the music of ,the
sleigh bells.
The ,Evaporator running full
blast each fall: the togs, being
drawn from the river into the
sawmill on the conveyor belt and'
the long whine of the saw and the
. big piles of logs andsawdust.
And now make up your own

them on your friends.
