•Welcome to
Bayfield
in the
100th year
since incorporation
On behalf of the Council and the Citizens of the
Village of Bayfield -I would like to extend a very
cordial invitation to our friends and guests from
the surrounding areas and the United States to
join us in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the
incorporation of the Village.
'The contribution of all those who have served the
municipality over the years is evident in the
nature and the appearance of the Village and has
been a factor in the present and future planning
of its development.
To all our good friends from the neighbouring
United States we hope you can participate in
some measure even though you are presently
deeply involved in your own bi-centennial
celebrations.
As you can see the Centennial Committee has
tried to bring you a programme of events to
celebrate in a manner consistent with the
solemnity and fun of this type of function. After
all it happens only once every hundred years.
Thank you for your support over the years and
may the Village grow in stature in accordance
with the desires of all of the citizens. may they be
permanent or summer residents.
Sincerely,
Ed. W. Oddleifson. P.Eng.,
Reeve.

-Village of Bayfield.
