Ease Ball,
The Exeter club go to Mitchell, in a few
days, to play the return match with the
"Stars" of that place.
On Monday afternoon the Lucan second
nine B. B. C., canoe to Exeter, and played a
game with the junior club, of this place.
Game was called at 4.30, Lucan club going
to bat. A lively game was played until
6th innings, when, on account of the even-
ing being dark,' the match was with -drawn,
the score standing 9-13 in favor of Lucan.
The probability is, had the nine innings
been played the home club world have
• proven themselves too much for their oppo-
nents. It will be finished at some .future
slate.
Piano Sales.
Mr. T. D. Prendergast, the pushing and
gentlemanly agent for Mr. B. J. Wade,
Organ and Piano dealer, of Stratford, who
has been in this vicinity for the past few
days, succeeded in selling three of the Do-
minion Co'y's pianos, one to Mr. T. Fitton,
of Exeter, one to Mr. F. Hess, and one to
Mr. H. Happel, of Zurich. During the past
few months, Mr. P. has disposed of some
thirty organs and pianos in and around
Exeter. The Dominion organs and pianos
