Cundy's son Robert.
Marion Thompson is
working at the Homewood
Sanitarium in Guelph for the
summer,
Jamie Thompson flew to
Edmonton this week. He
hopes to find summer work .

Mr. Daryl Ball, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stan Ball, Auburn,
is home from the University
of Wisconsin, where he is
presently majoring in Dairy
Science. This summer he is
with the Farm Credit Cor-
poration in Lindsay, Ont.
Daryl was recently honoured
when he was appointed
President of Delta Theta
Sigma Fraternity.

elects noir executive
The newly amalgamated
Dashwood Seaforth Band
held their elections recently
and the following people are
in office: president, Jack
Gaiser, Dashwood; vice-
_president; Keith Sharp,
Seaforth; secretary
treasurer, John Van
Giifinnen, Seaforth ; direc-
tors, Dr. Chas: Toll. Seaforth
and Harry Hoffman, Dash-
wood; librarians and com-
mittee members, Gerald
M.artene, Seaforth; Stan
Heist, Dashwood and Peter
Marten, Seaforth.
The band is an
amalgamation f band
members from the towns of
Seaforth and Dashwood and
surrounding areas.
Rehearsals will be held
alternately between Seaforth
and Dashwood on Sunday
evenings at 7:30 p.m. The
first rehearsal was held in
Dashwood on Sunday, June 6.
Any persons, male or
female in the surrounding
communities are welcome to
join the band. A number of
engagements have already
been booked.
Life group sends suggestions to T.
A letter sent to the Ontario
Human Rights Commission
by Ken Reidy of the Goderich
and District Pro Life Group
made the following points:
(1) The Commission should
define when a human life
begins. A distinguished group
of scientists from around the
world, meeting in Washington
in 1967 concluded that a new
life begins when a sperm
enters an egg.
(2) Since the Criminal Code
of Canada recognizes the

Experience is not
necessary and if you hve two
evenings a week, you could
spend helping these children,
please come to Huron Cen-
tennial School at 7 p.m. for

17 and under on the first of
Janurary and girls 13 ' and
under as of the same date, are
to be at the school Friday
evening. if, for any reason
you can't be- there, you are
asked to send word that you
do intend to play as the names
have to be in and cannot be
changed after June 14.
