Church notes
A packed church greeted
the Rev. Wilbur Rogers when
he returned to Hensall United
Church after an absence of
over 20 years to preach at the
anniversa.ry services on
Sunday. Taking as his sub-
ject, "What are we doing with
the future NOW?" he said
that everyone has to face
tomorrow the consequences
of what one does today. One
either moves forward or
backwards - never stand still.
Supported by the Huron
Centennial School choir, the
congregation enjoyed several
selections of religious folk
songs and popular lyrics.
These young people are led by
Mrs. Doris McKinley and
accompanied at the piano by
Mrs. Mary Moffatt. A solo
part was taken by Susan
McAllister and the choir of
over 60 voices. accompanied
themselves in many cases
with ukuleles, a double bass
and cymbals. stressed the
