Bateman. Mrs. Doris Jacklin
was emcee for the program
and the twenty-one
celebrants received gifts
from the institute. Miss.

A. Trumble died Saturday
evening, May 15, in Mercy
Hospital, Port Huron,
Michigan.
He was born July 22, 189$,
in Port Huron, the only son of
the late John and Anna
(Alexander) Green, formerly
of Colborne Township and
Clinton.
Mr. Green owned and
operated Green's Grocery
Store in Lexington, Michigan.
from 1948 until he retired in
1963. Previously he had been
employed as an engineer with
the Canadian National
Railway. He was a member
of the Lexington United
Methodist Church and the
Lexington Masonic Lodge No.
61,F. & A.M.
Surviving are. two children
a daughter, Mrs. Ernest
(Doris) Hustek, Mount
Clemens, Mich. and a son.
Harold V. Green, New
Orleans, La., ten grand-
children and five great
grandchildren.
Funeral and committal
services were held at the
Kaatz Huron Chapel Funeral
Home, Lexington. on
Tuesday, May 18, with burial
in the Lexington Municipal
Cemetery. The Rev. Earl S.
Geer officiated.

and a wedding ring collar.
Her cathedral, three -tiered
train was held in place with
matching dress material
forming tiny bows. She
carried a crescent cascade of
yellow sweetheart roses.

Carnation. Holmesville. She
wore a long gown of teal blue
with a matching sleeveless
coat and- a corsage of mauve
variegated carnations. The
groom's mother assisted.

suit with white accessories
and a. pink carnation corsage
for her trip to northern
Ontario.

given by Mrs. Douglas Smith,

Catholic Parents Teachers
Association was held on
Wednesday. May 19. Ron
Pickerskil.l. filling in for
Father Hardy. passed out an
information brochure sent out
by St. Joseph's Church Last
year.
The brochure introduced
the teaching staff of St.
Joseph's School. told of their
qualifications and gave a
sh �biographical' history of
ea teacher. This in-
troduction was followed by a
question and answer sheet
solving many commonly -
asked questions.
With this brochure for
reference. an updated one
was drafted, passed and
carried to be distributed
and Elaine Stewart ad-
journed the meeting. -by

on June 16 at St. Joseph s
Church Parish Hall at 8 p.m
The evening will begin with
an introduction of the
executive of the C.P.T.A. and
a short report on the functions
of the 'C.P.T.A. in the St.
Joseph's School. A question
and answer period will follow
concluding with coffee.
The St. Joseph's School
children will then share some
of their achievements and
talents with us. The evening
has been set aside to inform
and entertain and they cor-
dially invite you to attend.
