The Clinton Kinette Club
entertained their adopted
grandmothers from Ground
Floor North and Centre with a
smorgasbord dinner and
program on Tuesday evening
at the Clinton Public School.

Maude Radford died

Clinton Public Hospital after
lengthy Illness. She was 75.
Born to John and Mary

she was raised in Hullett

Mullett Township school.
On October 29, 1924 she
arried Norman Radford at
er home, and the couple
ed on several farms in

Mrs. Radford was

Church as well as a life
Member of the UCW of that

member of the Eastern Star,

Also surviving are five

grandchildren; and one
sister, (Vera) Mrs. Percy

brother, Bert Shobbrook,
Londesboro.
Mrs. Radford was
predeceased by her -parents,
one brother, Lorne, and her
usband.

The funeral was held May
10 at the Tasker's funeral
Home in Blyth with Rev. C.L.
Wittich and her son-in-law,
Rev.. Donald Snell officiating.
Interment followed at the
Union Cemetery in Blyth.
Pallbearers were Bin
Crawford, and Bill and Bob
Gibbings and her three
grandsons, Leslie and David
Snell and Bill Soper.
Flower bearers were
William Dalrymple, Donald.
Young, Rudy Liebold and
Jack Wilson.
Mrs. Hazes Long
A former Kippen resident
and newspaper correspon-
dent, Mrs. Hazel Long, died
at the General and Marine
Hospiita1 .in Owen Sound on
May 14,1976.
Hazel Eleanor (Rowntree)
Long of Lee Manor, Owen
Sound was the wife of the late
Norman Long, and a sister of
Ada (Mrs. William Burrage)
of Downsview and Foster of
Richmond Hill.
The late Mrs. Long rested
at the Breckenridge Ashcroft
Funeral Home in Owen
Sound. The funeral service
was held Monday May 17.
Interment followed at the
Annan cemetery, Owen
Sound.

The "Over 90 Club" held
their May meeting in the
ground floor north - dinIng
area on Wednesday af-
ternoon. Games of euchre and
crokinole were played and
lunch 'was served by the
Walkerburn Club Volunteeri.
Mrs. Doak was welcomed to
the Club and a visitor, Mrs.
White of Vanastra, was in-
troduced to the members.
Several of the residents
travelled 'by van to Goderich
Wednesday evening, to attend
the Magic Circus in the North
Street United Church Hall.
Many thanks to the Goderich
Police Association, sponsors
of the show, for the corn-
plimentary tickets.
We are hoping to have our
Family Night programs on
the front lawn during the
summer months so if you
know of a band or program in
your area suitable for out-
doors

Button and Jette Bjerg, both
of Blyth.
The groom is the son of
Marie Button and the late
Ernest Button of Blyth, and
the bride is the daughter of
Benny and Karen Bjerg of
Clinton.
Rev. C.L. Wittich of Blyth
officiated at the double ring
ceremony, and Mrs.
Margaret Kai of Oakville was
the organist.
The bride wore a white.
floor -length gown of bridal
satin with long sleeves, an
empire waist and a scoop
neck. Her cape of crystalets
had lace around the hood and
edges and trailed down her
back. Her bouquet was made
of yellow sweetheart roses
with white daisies and blue
baby's breath through it.
The maid of honour. Sherry
Hodgins of Clinton. wore a
powder blue floor -length
gown with short puffed
sleeves and an empire waist.
The floral print ribbon around
her waist hung to the floor.
She carried a nosegay of

divided into junior and senior
divisions. Officers were
