A couple that have done a
tet for Clinton are leaving the
town and lust talking off."
Ruth and Cordon Duero are
leaving for places unknown in
Eastern Canada the begin-
ning of June.
They have sold their store.
`"The Arilour'"'boutique to Mr.
and Mrs. Wayne Holtzhauer
of Burlington, who have also
bought the Duern home on
Rattenbury Street.
Mrs.. Duern said they have
sold. all their furniture and
are just going to travel to the
east with the necessities.
"We have no idea where
we're going to live yet. We'll
find a place that is close to the
ocean and Gordon will do his
painting,"Mrs. Duern said.
The Duerns moved to
Clinton in 1973 to escape the
rat race of the city and so
they could each devote more
time to their specialties. Mr.
Duern is an artist and Mrs.
Duern is skilled in the art of
flower arranging.
Mr. Duern, who is also an
architect, got interested in
the idea of restoring the old
commercial section of Clinton
and giving it a facelift. He
began working with in-
dividual merchants and store
owners to show them just how
much potential their
buildings had.
The Duerns began
restoration on a tiny shop
next to BartlifPs restaurant
and turned it into "The
Arbour", a little shop selling
Gordon's sketches and Ruth's
dried flowers and a variety of
other unique gifts.
The new look of the tittle
shop made Clinton merchants
aware of the potential of their
own buildings.
The Duern's then moved
"The Arbour" to its present
location when a store across
the street from the little shop
came up for rent. The dentist
who had his offices upstairs
wanted Gordon , to do
something to make the
building look better. The

thoroughfare of Clinton..

"I would like to get in-
volved in some different
types of courses and crafts."
Mrs. Duern said.
"The Arbour will remain
the same and hopefully will -
expand, as I was going to do."
she said.
The Querns also ended
their connections with

If a person has not been heard
from tor 7 years or more. a
court may make an order
declaring his presumed death.
If it does so then his property
will pass under his will. If he
has no will then it will go to his
wife, if any, and the next of

The share of the property you
win get, if there is no wife and

Enclosed is a photostat of a
cheque sent to Poster World in

All they have done to date is to
cash the original cheque. I
haven't even received an
acknowledgement of any kind.
so any help you can give me to
speed up delivery or get my
money back will be ap-
preciated, as my patience is
