has given birth to thirty pigs within four-
teen mouths, all being healthy litttle animals.
The same lady bas a cow, only seven years
old, that has given birth to eaven calves, one
each year from the time she was one year

dollars for her.

The township as „a whole is improving
rapidly.
According to the voters' list for Hay town-
ship, prepared by the Clerk, there are 878
who are qualified to vote at both 'municipal
elections to the Legislative Assembly 47
qualified to vote at municipal elections only,
and 49 qualified to vote only at elections to
the Legislative Assembly. There are 819
qualified to serve as jurors. There are ;ou
the list 123 landholders' sons ; 39 female
voters and 18 wage earners. The female
electors can vote only at municapal elections
and elections and the wage earners only ^at
elections to the L slative Assembly.

the agricultural resources of Canada on behalf
