Twelve hours after winning
the Ontario Hockey
Association Junior C
championship Sunday.
Dunnville Terriers were put
up for sale.
The Terriers beat Essex
73's, last year's champs, in
the sixth game of a best -of -
seven series. But at noon
Monday, team owner Dave
Dunham said the two-year-
old franchise was for sale.
He said the responsibility
and loss of personal freedom
which accompanies the
position of sole chief
executive were taking their
toll on himself and his family.
Essex had beaten the
Clinton Mustangs 4-2 in
games in the best of seven
semi-finals in a controversial
series that saw the sixth
game replayed after Clinton
won a protest over a curved
stick.
