Mr. A. C. Archibald, ad-
ministratar of the Home,
addressed the meeting and
mentioned a few 'things that
are needed in the Home. "We
don't raise money to keep it,
there is a tight budget". It
was decided to buy several
new ." Quad canes" and get
prices on several other items.
Mr,. Archibald then con-
ducted the election of officers
for the ensuing year, 1976-1977
resulting as follows: hon.

Sunday evening with several
=musical numbers by the
Clinton Christian Reformed
Youth Choir.
Marie Flynn and Norman
Speir provided the old time
music for the Monday
program. Morgan Dalton sang
two solo numbers for the sing
song and the Clinton
Christian Reformed volun-
teers assisted with activities.
The Family Night program
was arranged by Miss Louise
Lovett. of Summerhill. Miss
Lovett assists with music in
some of the schools as well as
giving . individual ' piano
lessons.
The pupils playing piano
solos were Kathryn
MacDonald, Judy Wise,
Susan VanEgmond, Wesley
Delve, Kathy ' Penfound,
Elizabeth Reid, Mary Gibson.
Jackie Norman, Brenda
Harris, Anita Hallam and
Barbara Gross.
Karen McGregor, of
Brucefield, entertained with
two Scottish dances and
played a medley of songs on
the accordion. Karen is a
teacher of Scottish dancing
-and two of her students, Stella
Wilson and Joe Anne Carter
danced solo and duet num-
bers.
Mrs. Elsie Henderson who
gave piano lessons for several
years expressed the a1-
preciation of the residents.
Ed Stiles, of Goderich,
played organ favourites on
Thursday afternoon and
accompanied Mrs. Betty
Rogers with vocal solos.

Effie Stephenson retired
from her second job this
month and she figures that
she will have a bit of time on
her hands, "I'Il do all the
things that I've only been able
to half do up 'till now," says
the affable 70 year old, who
looks years younger than
that.
For 20 years Effie has been
in charge of the concession
booth at, Brownie's Drive -In
in Clinton. Last fall she
retired from that job and
recently she was honoured
when she retired from her
day time job, at Seaforth
Community Hospital.

a terrarium by fellow hospital

board room there on April 16.
Mrs. Stephenson is an avid
gardener and she says she'll
have more time for her
hobby. This is the first time
in 20 years that she'll be free
in the summer, free to travel
and visit her two sons, Dan in
Ottawa and Bill in Toronto.
"It'll be nice to go to Toronto
without having to rush home
in time for the evening
show,." Effie says.

Churches was held in Ontario
Street United Church on
Sunday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Welcoming at the door were
Mrs. Murray Forbes and
Mrs. Percy Livermore. The
ushers were Mrs. Doug
Coventry, Mrs. Bob Taylor.
Mrs. Carl Hicks and Mrs.
Elmer Trick.
The service opened with a
hymn with Mrs. Doris
McKinley at the organ. Mrs.
George Wright - welcomed
everyone to the service. The
worship service was con-
ducted by Mrs. Ken Wood and
Miss Olive Johnson, and Mrs.
Lloyd Bond led in prayer.
The CHSS choir. "Music"
sang two numbers, "All in the
April Evening" and "Sanctus
Garden". Miss Louise Lovett
accompanied the choir and
Mrs. Mary Hearn directed
them as their director Mrs.
Lois Abel was ill.
The guest speaker, Miss
Lavonne Ballagh of
Wingham, who was in-
troduced by Mrs. L. S. Lewis,
chose as -her theme,
"Easter". Mrs. Harold Wise
thanked Miss Ballagh for her
excellent message and the
choir for their lovely musical
numbers. The service con-
cluded with the benediction
pronounced by Rev.
Lawrence Lewis.
Following the service, a
social hour was held in the
recreation hall.

year after year. She says
--people who used to go to the
drive-in with their parents
when they were little are now
bringing their own kids.
"That's what I'll miss,
seeing people," she said.
"People who were home on
holidays would come in and
we'd have a chat."
But many times Mrs.
Stephent n. wouldn't get
home from the drive in until 1
or 2 a.m. and she won't miss
the late nights.
