Futn.—Quite a commotion was caused in our little town last Friday noon by the cry of "Fire." It appears Messrs. Jackson & Hardy, butchers), were rendering tallow in Mr. Happle'e slaughter house, Mr. J and his son Willie being in charge. Mr. J. having occasion to leave the boiling tallow for a short time with strict injunctions to the little boy not to build any more fire under the kittle. However, the boy did not obey his father's orders and in consequence, by some means or other, the tallow caught fire, and it was only by the timely efforts of some of the p.eople who rushed to the scene of action, thas a very serious and dangerous Inc was prevented. Reports reaches here that the three mis- sing bodies of the ill -fitted "Crusier" were found near Port Make. The "Crusier" is a two mastedyacht owned by 3,Ir.
