origkinal bridge approach to
the old public launching
ramp, at the west end 4 the
Federal Government
property and will remain, as
mentioned above, a public
thoroughfare in perpityity.
There is some doubt as to
the usefullness of this ramp to
the general public. However.
the Village does have some
transient storage space at the
entrance to the flats. It is
anticipated that this space
could be made available
uring the active boating
season.
The council of -the Village.
which entered into this
controversy nearly '10 years
ago, feels that it has carried
out requests from the
fishermen and the
Ratepayers Association of the
Village to protect their rights
in as reasonable manner as
was possible.
The three encumbants, who
had possessory rights. have
-
relinquished them to Blue
Anchor Investments Ltd. in a
manner apparently
satisfactory to each owner.
On the other hand, public
access to the River has been
protected even though
parking space may not be as
plentiful as could be desired.
Although • this is not a
solution the Village had hoped
for. public access has been
preserved.

You should approach
restoration with an open mind

authenticity and be honest.
