Marie came up against Jim Waite from St. Thomas. The Seaforth teams gave them a very good game but St. Thomas took the win. The loss sent the teams into the Burden 'Pl•ophy com- petition, where they came up against the Sarnia entries. Sarnia defeated both Seaforth teams and put them out of the competition. In the mixed league, a continued on page 7 Umpire clinic planned A WOAA rules clinic will be held in Seaforth Saturday, April 24 starting at 10 p.m. at Seaforth District High School. The clinic is for all softball and baseball umpires in- terested in obtaining, their card. This clinic is also recom- mended for players and coaches. There is no cost to attend the clinic except for. rule hams if desired. In Clinton this year, it is anticipated that there will only four travelling baseba teams, Tyke, Peewee, Juvenile and Girls, com- peting in the WOAA and a four team Indestrial League.
