Ice storm
Varna escaped the fullry
of the ice storm, with power
afffin the village for only 12
hours. Compared with people
to the south of us, we were
eery fortunate: It was a week
of extremes, with no water on
Wednesday during the power
failure and too much water on
Friday, when some area
residents had flooded
basements.
