There were four lanes of children and adults bowling. McKillop 4 4-H club held their first three meetings in March. Topic for this club is a Touch of Stitchery. Election of officers was held with' the president: Shirley McClure; v ice -press, Ida Decorte ; secretary -treasurer, Lori Hugi li ; press reporter, Sharon Thompson. Discussion was: 'Things needed for the embroidery club." The name picked for this club is the "Sew Happy Stitchettes". Meeting two was held at Decorte's. Roil call was what you chose to Make and why. They discussed the uses of the back stitch and how to create your own design, and learned how to make the twisted chain stitch. Harry Scheiir Harry ' Cen ,.Mont Schellenberger of 04, PrIn'- cess Street East. Clinton. died Sunday, Pebruary 1976 in the Clinton Public Hospital after a brief illness. He was 67. He was born in Mitchell, Ontario on December 27, 1908, the son of Constant and Louise Schellenberger. Mr. Schellenberger at- tended the . Mitchell High School and then Stratford Business College. On September 16, 1936 he,. married Ada Elliott in Staffa Ontario. After thein marriage the couple lived in Clinton. Mr. Schellenberger retired in 1971 from Ontario Hydro where he was an office clerk. He belonged to the Grace Lutheran Church in Mitchell and was an adherent of St. Paul's Anglican Church in Clinton. Surviving Mr; Schellen- berger besides his wife is one son. Eric of Clinton and one grandson. Jeffrey, also of Clinton. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Allan (Una) MacDougald, Mitchell and two brothers, Carl of Mitchell and Alvin of Stratford. The funeral was held March 3, 1976 at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell with Rev. S. Sharples of Clinton: Mitchell officiating.. Inter- ment followed at the Grace Lutheran cemetery in Mit- chell. He was born on the Hagan homestead on the Parr Line near Hillsgreen , the son of the late James Hagan and Ann Catherine Jordan. After graduating from Denistry College he went to Chicago where he opened up a practise retiring several years ago. • He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The funeral was held Thursday February 20, 1976, from Columbian Chapels, 6621 W. North Ave.. Oak Park, Ill. to St. Vincent Ferrel Church where Mass was celebrated .
