hat trick, while Bruce.
MacDonald dumped in two
goals. Single goal scorers
were Dan Colquhoun, Brian
Kennedy, Randy Tvrillar, Mike
Anstett, and Neil Colquhoun,
Dean Ryan stopped 29 shots
in the Clinton net, while Grant
Lipskie faced a barrage of 51
Mustangs shots. •
Clinton wrapped the series
up last Sunday night with a
12-1 trouncing of the Kinucks,
leaving little doubt that the.
Mustangs will be the team to
beat in the finals,
Dan Colquhoun and Brian
Kennedy each scored a pair
of goals each in Clinton's win,
while solo efforts were
picked up by John Graham,
Steve efforts were picked up

The Seaforth Curling Club
•held a Men's Open Bonspiel
sponsored by Rowcliffe
Motors on Saturday February
21.
The 9 o'clock draw was won
by• Art Clark's rink froin
Exeter and the 11 o'clock
draw went.to a local team. of
Bob Wilson, Bill Fleming,
Doug Rowcliffe and Jack
McCall.
Second prizes in the draws
went to Rob Robichand from
Huron. Park and • Mberay
Shiell from Win.gham., Third
prize went to Rick McDonald
from Seaforth and Harry
W ismer from St Thomas.
The Seaforth District High.
School Curling teats of David
Ste. Marie, Dave Reid, Glen
Stewart and Joe McLean
competed in the Huron -Perth
finals last Wednesday
February 18. They lost their
games and Mitchell and St.
Mary's teams continue on to
the finals.
The Colt Competition
between division 13 and 14
held here at the Club on
Sunday February 22 saw Ayr
Pefeat Chesley two games to
one.
Seaforth's Intermediate
team of Dave Cornish, John
Patteson Sr., Bill Lobb, and
Don Deighton competed in
Palmerston on Sunday
against three other teams
from district 13B. Teams
from Exeter, Harr iston,
Palmerston and Seaforth
played off with Seaforth
coming out on top to continue
in that event.
, The Seagram Mixed team
arrived home from the
Ontario Playoffs in Brampton
with a 2-5 , win -loss record.
The results were as follows:

Seaforth 8, Kingston, (Ted
Brown) 9 in 11 ends; Seatorth

have been .British Court
fititilists at least once. Three
of those 11 have been in the
Briar. One complete rink (St.
Catharines) was the Ontario
Mixed Champion in 1973. And
one other skip has been an
Ontario Mixed Champion on
two other occasions.

after playing off a three way
tie with Oshawa and St.
Catharines. Oshawa was
• runner up.
The Seaforth team cer-
tainly appreciated the efforts.

in the first of a five game
series. The first period

Winners of the second draw
for the 1975-76 Vanastra
Curling season were:
Tuesday night ladies, skip
Evans.
The third
underway.
The Ladies Jitney on
ursday February 19 was
attended by 32 ladies. Curlers
represented Seaforth.
Hensall, Bayfield. Clinton,
Goderich and Blyth. Each
curler received a plant as a

delicious lunch of pancakes
and sausages was served to
the ladies.
A team skipped by John
Brownridge won the Royal
Bank Cash Spiel in Wiarton.

The Raiders will host the
Seaforth team tonight.
Atoms lose •
series opener
—last Tuesday night in
Seaforth; the Clinton Wildex
Atoms dropped the first game
of the semi final against
Sea forth by a score of 3,1.
Seaforth opened the scoring
in the first period with a pair
of goals. Clinton narrowed the
margin in the third period on
a goal by Randy Marriage
assisted by Sean Van Dongen
and Scott Kay.
At the 14:43 mark of the
third period, Seaforth scored
an insurance marker in an
empty net.
The next game of die series
is at home on Saturday,
February 28,-a 4 :30_p_m_
Third game of the series
will be Monday night at 6:30
in the Clinton arena.
