After many ideas were discussed it was decided to leavethe final choice to the Club Leaders Executive. Leaders felt a need for a workshop in com- munications, parliamentary procedures and teaching aids for all leaders in the County. This 'Workshop will be held in early spring after most 4 -II clubs are organized. • After much discussion, it was ,passed by the mem- bership that the 4-11 club member be allowed to take a maximum of six projects each year (three in the summer, three in the winter), • 4-H Exchanges will again be 'offered , to 4-1I -club members in 1976. Nova Scotia, Pennsylvania. and Ohio have been contacted and officials will be waiting their replies before final decisions have been reached. It was also decided' to establish Showmanship Clinics for 4 -II livestock club members who require coaching in -preparing their animals for an Achievement Day. These clinics will be offered during the middle part of the summer. II club leaders make plans The Huron County 4-g1lub Leaders Association* held its annual meeting on Wed- nesday, January 28 at the WAX'. Hall in Clinton. The following statistics were presented to the organization on the 1975 4-11 Club Program. In alt, 379 members took 477 projects forming 29 clubs in Huron County. The average age of the club members was 14.4 years.which is slightly lower than the previous year. - tn 1975 93 percent of the club members completed their (Projects which is the highest percentage com- pletion ever achieved by 4-14 members in the County. After a brief discussion, it was decided to continue with the Pre 4 -II Program in -Huron County. This program, which has been a pilot project of the Association since 1971, allows 11 year old club members in to the 4-1.1 ac- tivities. As most ef the county and provincial programs are geared for the senior 4-H members and the very young Authority plans winter fun dav On Sunday February 15, the Ausable-Bayfield Con- servation Authority will be holding a winter fun day at Parkhill Conservation Area. This activity day will be advertised in all the local papers. The purpose of this day will be to better acquaint the public with the winter facilities at Parkhill. The possible winter ac- tivities that the public can do include snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing on the new toboggan hill.
