The Clinton Raiders, the
girls' hockey teem* continue
to dominate their league as
they tied Dublin 1-1 last
Sunday night in Mitchell, and
hung on for a 4-3 victory over
Seaforth last Monday night.

first and seeded periods
remained scoreless and
Clinton's. Sandra Fremlin
fleetly broke the ice at 2:07 of
the -third frame with help
from Jennifer Luckham and
Marianne Fremlin.
• Dublin came back with a,
goal at 6:39 to end the score at
1-1 and neither team law the
red light again.
Monday night's game in
Seaforth proved to be quite a
battle for the Clinton Raiders
as Seaforth came on strong in
the first and second periods
with a lot of checking.

The Clinton Minor Hockey
Association is holding their
annual minor hockey
Weekend again this year and
are hosting their traditional -
rivals . from Clinton New
York. -
The action gets underway
this Friday night when the
Clinton, Ont. pee wees take on
their counterparts from New
York at 4:30 p.m., white the
bantams battle New York at
5:30, and the Clinton midgets
host Mitchell at 7:30.
At 8:30, the Junior "C"
Mustangs take on the New
Hamburg Hahns in a regular
league game that will decide
first place in the OHA league.
Minor .hockey weekend
continues on Saturday af-
ternoon when the Atoms take
to the ice a 4:30p.m., followed
by the pee wees versus New
York at 5:45 p.m. and the
Bantams versus New 'York at •
7 p.m. themidgets take to
the ice in. a regular league
-game :At 8:30 p.m. •
e The big *weekend will be
wrapped up with a dance
beginning at 9 p.rn. in which
Clinton. Ontario host Clintote
New York. The 85 per per-
sons covers EVERYTHING

cing. lunch and refreshments.

and Harvey Atchison scored

which extended the Colts'
losing streak to three games.

with the Mitchell Red Devils,
the Colts' next home game is

when they edged Mitchell 5-3.
