There appears to be a
strong possibility that there
may be a postal strike
starting this weekend and
many readers may be con-
cerned about how their News -
Record will reach them next
week and, if necessary, in the
weeks to come.
Ice rental charges will be
raised slightly this year, the
Clinton Recreation Com-
mittee decided at their
meeting last Thursday night.
Minor Hockey teams and
the figure skating club will
pay $12 an hour this season,
compared to S10 of last year.
The industrial hockey league
and resident users will pay
$16 per hour this year com-
pared to the $14 last year, and
out of town residents will pay
$18 per hour, compared to $16
of last year.

weeks to come, despite a
strike by the mail sorters at
most of the major post offices
across the cottntry.

that his' children ' are too
young to withstand the
pressures that automatically
come when a member of the
family is totally immersed in
politics. the way Mr Gaunt
would have to become if he
were elected leader of the
Liberal party.
