Yellow and bronze mums
decorated the United Church
in Londesboro on November
23. 1975, when Rev. Stanley
McDonald officiated at the
double -ring ceremony uniting
Pauline Airdrie and Keith
Siemon in marriage.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Thomas Airdrie of
Londesboro and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Siemon of RR 4, Walton,
Ontario.
"The Wedding Prayer" and
"They've Only Just Begun"
were • sung by Mrs. Bette
Jewitt of Woodstock, ac-
companied on the organ by
Mrs. Barbara Bosman of
Londesboro.
Given in marriage by her
brother. Arthur Airdrie of
Londesboro, the bride chose a
formal goWn in organza and
Alencon lace, with an at-
tached chapel train, bishop
sleeves and a high neckline of
soft fluting. Fluting also
outlined the Alencon and
pears bib and edged the cuffs.
A deep band of matched
fluting encircled the hemline
and formed a deep v in the
chapel train. A bride cap held
a silk illusion veil.
Her bouquet was a cascade
of orange delight roses with
yellow and white daisies.
The maid of honour was
Mrs. Kathy Chambers of
Clinton. Bridesmaids . were
Mrs. Dorothy Airdrie, Lon-
desboro and Mrs. Wayne
Sterling, Brucefield. They
wore identical emerald green
dresses trimmed with white
daisies. They featured em-
pire waists with matching
bolero jackets and hoods.
Tracey Siemon of RR 4,
Walton. was flowergiri. She
wore a dress with a flowered
bodice and a green skirt.
similar in style to that of the
bride's dress.
Each attendant carried an
irregular nosegay of bronze
and yellow mums with white
shasta daisies.
Bill Siemon, brother of the
groom. was best man. Ushers
were, Ken Murray of RR 4,
Walton. and Glen Dolmage of
Lucan. Stanley Airdrie was
the ringbearer. The groom
andattendants wore brown
tuxedoes with melon coloured
ruffled shirts.
The bride's mother wore a
floor -length 'gown with rose
and pink flowers on a black
background.
The groom's mother wore a
brown floor -length gown with
an empire waist and a pink
and white flowered bodice.
A delicious supper was held
in'the church basement -which
was prepared by the Lon-
desboro United Church
Women. and the reception
was held at the Brodhagen
Community Centre. .
Guests were present from
Oshawa, Toronto. London,
Guelph. Kitchener. Pt. Albert
and Detroit.
Prior to the wedding. the
bride was honoured with a
surprise miscelianeotrs
shower at Brodhagen. The
shower was given by Mrs.
Albert Siemon, mother of the
groom. and Mrs. Elsie
Beuermann, Mrs Beatrice
Dawson and Mrs. Jean
Mastia. sisters of the groom.
A Tupperware shower was
given ,,by Mrs. Marie
Leonhardt. The Londesboro
United Church women held a
miscellaneous shower in the
church basement and Mrs.
Mary Freeman held a
miscellaneous shower for the
employees of the Bank of
Montreal in Clinton where
Pauline formerly worked.
For a trip to the Bahamas.
the bride chose a pale green
skirt and a matching
flowered blouse. She also
wore a corsage of yellow
roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Siemon
are residing at RR 4. Walton,
Ontario.

department of the Clinton
Christian Reformed Church
visited the Home during the
holiday season and presented
each ,of the residents with a
Christian calendar. -

The Bradley, Family. of
Clinton, entertained on
Family Night. This family of
seven singers W innifred,
Marie, Eugene. Mnsberth.
Domain, John and Jacqueline
are accompanied by their
father Eugene with the ac-
cordion.
The Bradleys came to
Canada from Ireland about
three years ago and have
become well known en-
tertainers. The residents
enjoy the fine singing of the
Irish. Scottish and Canadian
songs and their appreciation
was expressed by Mrs.
Leybourne,.,,, a native of
Ireland.
