Santa Claus arrived to the
excitement of the children
and was able to visit with
each one personalty. He read,
some letters he had receivrd
from them and then gave out
treats to all -the boys and girls
present.
With a. "Big" Merry
Christmas from the boys and
girls. Santa left for his next
assigned visit.
The next Fellowship night
will. be held on Friday.
January 9, -when Ron McKay
will be speaking and showing
his picturesof Russia.,
WI Card Party
The WI card party on
Friday night, " December 19
had seven tables in play.
Winners were: high ladies,
Mrs. Bert Shobbrook; men.
Harry Snell; lone hands,
ladies, Mrs. Les Read: men.
Ted Fothergill; low ladies,
Mrs. Howard Clark; men.
Mrs. George Wright (playing
as a man).
There will be another in two
weeks. January 2. In charge
will be Mrs. B. Shobbrook,
Mrs. E. Fothergill, Mrs, M.
Dateman and Mrs,, N. Car-
twright.

A large congregation at-
. tended Christmas Sunday
services on Sunday morning.

Edith McIntyre
Edith McIntyre of Town-
send Street in Clinton died
December IS. at the age of 76
in the Clinton Public Hospital.
The daughter of the late
Margaret and George
Jenkins. she was born April 9,
1899. in Buffalo. New York,
Mrs. McIntyre was
predeceased by her husband,
Dr. Harry A. McIntyre.
Surviving are one son. Dr.
John McIntyre,' Quesnel,
B.C.: and one daughter
Dorothy, (Mrs. Gerald
Nelson). Port Perry. She was
predeceased by one daughter,
Jean.

Rev. Stephens of Brucefield
was guest speaker at Kippen
East W.I. when they met at
the home of Wt. Robert
Kinsman with Grace
Drummond co -hostess.
Rev. Stephens read a story
"Itt Had Not Come." He then
showed a very interesting and
timely film strip on the Birth
0; Jesus. He was introduced
by Ruby Griebner and
thanked by Helen MacLean.
Margaret Hoggarth
commented on the motto

The roll call was answered
by a "Childhood Memory of

realize Christmas was much

sman the business, opening
the -meeting with a poem

Proceeds from the Bake Sale
were very gratifying and
there will be a euchre in the
Legion Hall, January 8, 1976
with the Centre 4roup in
charge.
The sewing project was left
over until the January
meeting and the collection
was sent to the Children's
Aid, Frances Kinsman and
Grace Drummond will visit
the Sunshine Sister for
January.
Christmas Carols and
Songs were sung throughout
the meeting and Verda
Sinclair gave courtesty
remarks. Mona Alderdice,
Phyliss Parsons and Grace
Drummond were in charge of
Lunch. Santa arrived and
distributed the secret pal
gifts.
