Chuten, died suddenly at his keine, November 23, 1975, at the age of 48. San of Robert John Strong and Aida Grace Strong. he was born. September 12.1927, in Kitchener. Surviving, besides his wife. the former Phyllis Winifred Steep. are seven children: Mrs. Jim ( Grace) Escott and Donna) of Alberta; Mrs. Gordon (Geraldine) Bell, Patricia, Marjorie. Ken and Bill. all of Clinton. Also surviving are four grandch two sisters and four brothers: Bob of Winnipeg; Jack of London. Jim of Clinton; Art of Seaforth; Mrs. Gerry (Joyce) Hamilton of Goderich and Mrs. Pat (Marie) Regan of Dublin. Tbe funeral service was held November 26, 1975 at the l Funeral Home. Clinton, vwi Rev. Edwin Nelson offtc'sting. Interment followed at the Clinton cemetery, Pallbearers were Hans Leppington, Steve Layton, Steve Maguire. Ron Coates, Steve Carter and Paul Hamilton. Eighteen p le en j+ y the' meal whi ' consisted of I hamburger stacks, cheese puffs, tuna casserole, meat loaf, scalloped 'potatoes. tossed salad, jellied salad, raw vegetables. clover leaf and fantan roils, Hungarian bubble ring and peaches with cream. Beverley Mathers, Debbie Harrison and Christine Burgess had charge of the main course and dishes, while Brenda Diehl, Sherry Duff, Ann Klomps and Mary Jean Betties looked after the 4—H remainder of the meal and .the dishes. Mary Jean, the president of the club, welcomed the fathers and introduced the 1b., eac,� ,jars. Bettye. She a eel the parents for their support and interest in 441 work and explained several details. The president carted upon each girl and explained the office she held in the club. The girls. in turn, told What they had made and provided for the meal and introduced her father. His contributions to the Authority over the past 15 years will always be remembered and appreciated by the staff and members." Ted Jones of Exeter now fills the position of general superintendent. Ted has been with the Authority since 196 and has a good working knowledge of all aaspee'ts eof the position. The new permanent position of education and information co-ordinator has been filled by Ms. Deana Young, Haarriston, Ont. Deana is a graduate of honours recreation from the University of Waterloo. Her first duty was to co-ordinate the fall session of the Con- servation School at Camp Sylvan.
