squad bast to a much bigger
Mitchell team. 7-3. The
lvlitcheil squid used four
midgets. who as it turned out
were instrumental in their
victory.
The, Clinton team sk4ted
hard and consistently out -
checked the Mitchell team
but their opponents . proved
too much as they outscored'
the smaller home team 7-3.

In three games last week,
the Clinton Raiders girls`
hockey team won one, lost
one and tied.one.
An exhibition game against
Forest proved to be a tough
battle for the Raiders last
Tuesday night.
Two goals scored by Forest
in the first period and one in
the ,second period left the
Raiders behind, 3-0. The
Raiders worked hard for two,
goals scored in the second
period by Debbie Cook and
Pattie Kay. assisted by
Sandra •Burns. Jennifer
Luckham and Marianne
Fremlin.
In the third period. Monica'
W'estfall scored an unassisted
Baal . for Forest. ending the
score at 4-2.
Thursday night's game
against St. Marys ended in a
4-4 draw. St. Marys scored a
goal in the fins? period.
Clinton fired three goals in
the second period and one in
the third period, however, St.
Marys struck back with three
:more goats iin the third

Pattie Kray scored twice for
the- Raiders with an assist
from Sandra Fremlin and
Jennifer Luckham. Singles
went to Sandra Fremlin.

proved victorious,for Clinton.
although four of the Raiders
were- not in the • line-up,

each scored doubles for the
Raiders.
Sandra Fremlin scored an
unassisted goal in the first
period. and she also fired one
past theDublin goalie withan
assist from Pattie Kay.
Sandra Burns sank, two
unassisted goals on the
Dublin goalie.
Jennifer Luckham's two
goals were scoretT..two ,
minutes apart in the second
period. assisted by Sandra
Frbmlin.
The Raiders will host
Seaforth tonight at 6:30.
