Pe le problems can be serious
problems.
This is what Ontario is doing
to help solve them in advance.
After the furnace, the water heater is the biggest user of energy in your
home, Waste hot water, and you're wasting valuable energy.
That's a good reason for getting full value from your water heater in
every way you can. By fixing leaky faucets.
By insulating tong'runs of hot water pipe,
By waiting until you have'a full load before you
switch on the clothes or dishwasher. By using
cold or cool water when it will do the job.
By taking shorter showers or shallower baths.
By making sure that all the hot water that -
eventually goes down the drain works hard for
you -before it goes.
The Cascade electric
water heatergives you a
dependable Supply 4t hot water
and it makes 900I use of alt
the energy it Consumes, But it
up to you to use hot water
wisely. Don't wast a drop.

Recently arrangements were made tor a
group of Indian children to attend the
utak school in a northern Ontario Cowri.
• he principal of the school in the town was
aware that Indian children sometimes had
a rough time at the hands of other students.
Midi° try to fbrestall this kind Of situation,
he called in a Human Rights Commission
counsellor to talk to the otherchildren
The counsellor asked the children if any
of them had ever moved to a new school
and what they thought it would feel like if
they were the strangers In this way he
helped 'them understand how the Indian
children would be feeling whenlhey
arrived, and the Integration proceeded
relatively smoothly.
