The Colts playing at home
last Thursday night were
trounced 10-3 by the
Milverton Four -Wheel -Drives.
The score was no indication
of the play as the Colts
definitely outplayed
Milverton but couldn't beat -
theeir goalie, Rich Baechler,
who was simply spectacular;
in net.
Dick, Harrow, Rick Tawne
and Charlie MacDonald
paced Milverton with two
Coafs each. Replying for the
olts were Harvey Atchison.
Derwin Carter and Don

Last Friday night in Mit-
chell the Colts were edged 5-4
by the Red Devils as the
deciding goal was scored with
45 seconds remaining in the
game.
The game marked the
fourth time this season the
Colts have lost by one goal.
Colt marksmen were Rick
Fremlin with two goals, while,
single tallies, went to arvey
Atchison and Scott Parks.

The Clinton Raiders Girls
Hockey team notched their
second Will of the year last
Thursday night when they
dumped Dublin 4-1.
Scoring twice for Clinton in
the second and third period.

the second period, Pattie Kay

The Dublin goal was scored
in the third period. at 8:50 by
Debbie Cameron assisted by

On December 13, the
Clinton Raiders will be
holding a dance in the Clinton
arena. (Tickets available
from any team member),
Last year's dance proved to
be a success so come out and
have a good time supporting
the Clinton Raiders.
The next home game will be

defeated Mitchell by a scare
of 84. In the first period Mike
Taylor opened the scaring
assisted by Randy Marriage.
One minute later, the Clinton
Captain, Sean Van Dongen
scored his first of four goals
assisted by Pete Denomme.
Mitchell scored less than a
minute later with Chris Ladd
caught out of the net, In the
second period, Brad Hymers
scored and assisted on Mike
Ta,ylor's second goal of the
game.
In the third period, Brad
Hymers opened the scoring
on a shot from center ice
assisted by Mike Taylor.
Then Seao Van Dongen took
over end scored three more
goats with assists going to
Randy Marriage, Scott Kay.
Bobby' Dupee, Pete
Denamrne and Scott Harris.
Doug Alexander played a
great stand-up, in the second
half. for Clinton. shutting out
the Mitchell team on
numerous occasions.
The next atom game was
Tuesday, November 18 ..in
Seaforth and results were not
available at press time.

On November 15. 16, Curl
Canada had an Instructors
Clinic in Hanover. Attending
from our :.lob were Bob and
Ante Ste. Marie and John and
Gwen Patterson. At the
clinic, they were instructed in
the procedure required to
teach the flat foot delivery.
Following up on their in-
struction. they will be holding
a clinic for new curlers on
Monday, Tuesday. Wed-
nesday November 24. 25. and
26. The clinic will be held at
the curling club and starts at
7:30. It is imperative that new
curlers attend each of the
evenings as the instruction is
progressive.
Further to this, on Sunday
afternoon November 30, they
will hold a one day clinic for
anyone presently curling and
wishing, to change delivery to
the flat foot delivery. More
information concerning this
can be obtained at the club or
by calling the Ste. Manes or
Pattersons.
The bonsplel committee
has de edeed to cancel• their
first Mixed 8onspiel on
Novenibcr 30 due to the
lateness of the starting of the
season and the mail strike. It
will be rescheduled in March
