The scripture was read by
Jessie Jones with a
meditation reading "Never

The minutes of the last
meeting were ` read by
secretary Mona Pipe and the
treasurer's report was read
by Dora Shobbrook. It was
announced that a UCW
General meeting will be held
on December 1, at 6:34 p.m. It
is a pot luck supper. bring a
friend.
The Berean unit meeting
will be December 9, with roll
call will be a Christmas story
found in Matthew. There will
be an ekchange of gifts. Also,
small parcels for Huronview
would be appreciated.

This week. we opened our
expedition with the Explorer
prayer and the purpose.
Sandra W esterhout read a
letter from the UCW inviting
us to their next meeting; held
last Monday night. We took a
vote. it was unanimous that
we go.
The ceremony of the stars
was held and first year girls
had to . learn the Explorer
purpose.
Second year girls learned
the first verse of "This is my
Fathers World". Third year
girls had to learn the
Beatitudes 3-7. Jeanette
Johnston read a short section
from the Bible, and told us
which games we would play.
They were, Hot Potato and -
Chicken fright.
We ended our expedition
with the Explorer Prayer. by
