The convenors wish to

Many stayed on to enjoy a cup
of coffee or cider or partake
of a delectable luncheon.

Mrs: Saundercacks,
We said the pledge and the
minutes were read by Julie
Taylor, our secretary.
Then we answered our roll
call. After this, our leaders
helped some of the girls make

chelsea buns and Swedish
rings. We then did the rest of
our business, and tasted our

supply.
Many took advantage of the
home baking and food from
the delicatessen.
For the bargain hunter,
there was the flea market,
silent auction and cup and
saucer bar.
It is always amazing what a
flea market will unfold with
the choice finds going at the
silent auction. The idea of the
cup and saucers was new this
year and proved to be very
popular.
At the days end, a weary lot
decided that all had been
worth while not only by
monetary measure but the
wonderful fellowship derived
from everyone working
together.
