BY AUDREY MIDDLETON After a short ' summerr, absence, the Godertch Township Recreation Council resumed its regular monthly meeting on the fourth Wed. nesday of the month October 22 at the council rooms, Holmesvlfe. Chairman John Westbrooke was in charge, A brief resume was given by Hugh Lobb, Gerry Ginn and John Westbrooke on. the township's boys- and girls softball. This year being the first year for exchange games- played with neigh- bouring townships, many stumbling blocks were en- countered and several lessons learned. Yet John Westbrooke reported that all townships were eager to meet prior to next softball season to set up a better organized system of rules and plans. Council realized this year that as sports programs grow with more people. improved organization is needed. Winter recreation programs were discussed. Hazel McCreath reported that a nucleus of craft en- thusiasts met in September to plana winter program.
