meeting in Seaforth.
Mr. Douglas Vincent -was rin at-
tendance to discuss damage done to the
sidewalk and to see what could be
arranged in way of settlement.
Theproblem of repairing the sidewalk
was discussed and Doug Vincent offered
toj�pay the amount of to replace the
broken section.
Council is to delay repair work for one
week unless notified sooner that
necessary heavy loads have been
delivered.
Council passed aotion to approve
building permits to Glen Carter, Lot 14,
concession eight; Alex Gelutzen, part
lots three and four, concession 13; and L.
Treanor, Lot 18, concession 14. These
.permits are to be subject to Township
by-laws and Huron County Health Unit
approval.
A motion was passed to appoint Durst
and Vodden for Auditors in 1975.
Council awarded the snowplowing
tender to Ken Hulley for $14 per hour, the
lowest submitted. Last year the same
tender went for $12.50 per hour.

Elsie Proctor samples a raspberry from one of the two quarts she picked fromiter garden
last week. She and her husband Alvin Proctor of Goderlcb Township, have enjoyed the
berries from their everbearing plants all year. They say though that this is the most they
have had in ane picking and theyhave never enjoyed berries this late in the year. Mrs.
Proctor said they bad -raspberries instead of the traditional riumpkln for Thanksgiving
dinner and if the weather holds they will be able to have 1relh raspberry pie lit November.

The frost effort of the group
will be a combined swim and
dance using both the indoor
pool and the auditorium, The
committee hopes to promote
these affairs as combined
dances and fall winter, beach
parties.

p.m., teens will have a choice
of going for a swim or dan-
cing, as both activities will be
going on simultaneously. The
format for the first big
happening has been set with
music by an experienced disc
jockey using special am-
plifiers and speakers
guaranteeing "real heavy
sounds'''. The snack bar will
be open all evening for
hamburgers, soft drinks,
coffee and pizza. Admission
