The Vikings -Panthers
senior game will be the
second game of a
doubleheader. M 1 p.m., the
junior Panthers will play
Listowel in one of the junior
semi-finals. The other semi-
final has Goderich, which
also finished the season with
a 6-0 record after beating
Listowel 28-0 Tuesday,
against Northwestern at
Goderich at 2 p.rn.
Brian Murray scored two
touchdowns, on runs of two
and 67 yar4 to lead the
senior Redmen. Paul Garrow4
also scored a touchdown and
Robin McAdam kicked a
convert and Tim Jewson a 60 -
yard single.
Rick Jarvis scored the Ione
Ramblers' touchdown cat-
ching a 20 -yard pass. The
Ramblers finish the season at
2-4.
Industrial league seores
In the second week of play
last Monday night in the
Clinton Industrial league, the
Flying Farmers edged the
Main Streeters by a 3-2 count,
while the Hawks swamped ,
•JthbanLiers, 84, and the
Raiders nipped Varna by a6 -
score.
There are several new rules
in the league this year, in-
cluding one which permits
only the captain of the team
to question a referee on a call.
All others will be penalized
with a ten minute miscon-
duct.
Also, persons playing With
any other team are not
allowed to play in the league,
with the exception of goalies.

continues next Monday night
and every Monday night until
the end of March.:
Anyone wishing to play

the league, ( physical On-
ditioning is not a factor)
should show up at the arena
on a Monday night and talk
with one of the six teams.
There is no body checking
in the league, and president
Hugh Flynn says anyone is
welcome.

A business management
seminar primarily for people
interested in small business
will be held in Goderich at the
Candlelight Restaurant
(Conference Room) on
Novetriber 12.
Arranged by the Advisory
Services Department ' of the
Industrial Development
Bank, in co-operation withthe
Goderich Businessmen's
Association, the seminar will
be one of several hundred
conducted by the Bank in
smaller cities and. towns
across Canada.
Some 25 to ' 35 people in-
terested ih business are
expected to attend the
seminar which will consider
operating projections and
financial statements of a
small business and the effects
that an expansion has on
them.
Fred Durst, C.A. will
discuss various aspects of
business planning and will be
available to field registrants'
questions on finance, fiscal
controls and -or taxation
matters.
The IDB, which was
established in 1944 as a
subsidiary of the Bank of
Canada, makes loans to
businesses of all types for a
variety of purposes. Almost
half of the Bank's loans are
for 625,000 Or less and the
Bank is especially interested
in assisting smaller
businesses,
The Advisory Servicei
Department of the Bank
publishes a series of pam-
,.phlets on small business
management, provides in-
formation on Federal
assistance programs
available to businesses,
organizes management
seminars and in other ways
tries to help business people
to improve their
management skills.
The Ciliation Colts opened
their 1975-76 hockey cam-
paign last Thursday night in a
losing note by being edged 4-3
by the Goderich Sailors.
Goderich got goals from
1Cen Meriam and ex -Clinton
Junior, Phil Petrie in the first
period before Colt's John
Cooper slid one past
Goderich's goaltender,
Kellestine early in the second
frame.
But before the second
period ended, Sailor's Ron
Miller increased his team's
lead to 3-1 on a solo effort.
Jim Hayter scored at the 3:22
mark of the third to make it 4-
1, but the Colts fought back to
within one, 'on tallies by Rick
Fremlin and John Cooper's
second goal of the night.
The buzzer ended as the
Colts were swarming around
the Goderich net but couldn't
beat Kellestine. Referees
Young and Butchee handed
gut 24 minor penalties in the
contest as the Colts were
assessed 10 of them.
Playing at home Sunday
night the Colts dropped their
second game of the year as
Hanover outbasted the Colts
9-8.
The Colts blew a 6-3 lead as
Hanover capitalized on the
power -play chances they got
and also on the Colt's
defensive errors.
Cam Lorenz led Hanover
with two goals and three
assists. Scott Parks st ored
four goals for the Colts while
single tallies went to Derwin
Carter, Harvey Carter, Rick
Fremlin and new -comer Paul
Rau.
This weekend sees the Colts
play Saturday night in
Harriston at 8 and returning
home Sunday night to do
battle with the high -flying
Fergus Green Machine at
1:30 p.m. -
Despite losses in their first
two .games. the , Colts have
shown great improvements
over last year's per-
formances and with any
"luck" could have two wins to
their credit.

Colts on to victory Sunday
night as they face-off against
probably the best team in the
north division of the O.H.A.
