That's the "gibberish" for this
week on to Town Talk proper. We
have townspeople returning from
both sides of the globe and from
below the border.
Mr. and Mrs. Owen Delve and
Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Groves are
back following a two ,week
holiday in the Hawaiian Islands.
The first week was spent in and
around Honolulu on the island of
Oahu. ..The latter week was
divided with three days on Maui
and three on Hawaii.
Back from a trip to the United
Kingdom, are Mr. and Mrs. Ken
Cooke: In two weeks touring
England and Scotland they
reported only two damp days.
White there they used British
Rail for transportation and found
it most satisfactory.

Mr. and Mrs. George Glazier,
Maple Street. accompanied by
Mr. and Mrs. William Livingston
arrived home following a tour to
California and the western
States. One of the highlights was
a visit to the Montan Taber-
nacle in salt Lake City

The I un:talc Rebekah Lodge
held their regular meeting
October 6 with Noble Grand
Barbara Taylor presiding
assistedby Vice Grand Kay Wise.
Installation of the new officers
will be held at the next meeting
October 20. The past Grande are
to have a penny sale at this time.
Final plans were announced for
the Dessert Euchre and Bake
Sale on October 22.
This year the Grand Masters'
Banquet is to be held October 24
at the.Brucefield School.
The members welcomed Mrs.
Florence Routzon into the Lodge.
Mrs. Routzon was a member
some years ago in the United
States. •

Bus. trip
Court Constantine L1842
sponsored a bus trip on Thur-
sday, October 2nd.
A bus load left Seaforth
traveliine to Stratford to the
Kroehler Factory and to
Shakespeare Land having lunch
at the Eastwood Restaurant.
They then went to Paris where
they went to the Mary Maxim
wool factory. and lastly they went
for a drive in ,Kitchener by the
Rockway Gardens, where all the
fall flowers were in bloom and
were very beautiful. They
finished up at the new Fairway
Shopping Mall.
Bowling tournament
The Canadian Foresters of
Western Ontario held their
bowling tournament on Sunday at
the Clinton Bowling Lanes. the
scores being for the Dominion
playoffs.
The Constance lodge was
lucky, placing first out of the
eight teams playing on Sunday.
. Those on the winning team were
John and Barbara Jewitt. Olave
Little, Ramona Jamieson and
Francis Hunt.
Atwood lodge placed .second,
and Nelson McClure won the
men's high single and Olave
Little won the ladies' high single.
4i I received trophies.
They returned to the Foresters
Hall where the ladies lodge
catered with 45 enjoying a ham
— supper.

McKillop IV held their first
meeting on September 30th at the
home of assistant leader .Gayle
Campbell. Topic for this term is
`Let's Bake Bread.'
The meeting opened with the 4-
11 pledge followed by election of
officers.
They are: president, Lars
Hugill, vice -prey.. - Doris
McClure; sec. -treasurer, Sharon
Thompson; press reporter.

Roll call was taken and during
the business discussion, a club
name was selected. We ore
calling ourselves the McKillop IV
Dough Doe's.
In the demonstration. we made
freezer whole wheat bread, which
was to be baked at the next
meeting on October 7th at the
home of Gayle Campbell.
