Season tickets for the Huron
Country Playhouse 1916
Festival of Summer Theatre
were put on sale early this
year, due to the great demand.
The fact that they are the most
flexible subscription ticke on
sale anywhere, appeals tbst
Playhouse patrons.
Upon purchasing one of these
tickets • the season ticket holder
has the choice to use his eight
tickets one at a time or all at
one show. For the people who
are in Grand Bend only for two
or three weeks in the summer,
this is ideal, since the whole
family can go to one or two
shows usingirsubscription
tickets.
An extra attraction for those
wishing to purchase tickets for
next year's season is the
discount rate available if
purchased before December
31st.
Plans for the next season are
already underway and another
sumrner of good entertainment
is in the making.

Bank closes
The Vanastra. Branch of the
Bank of Montreal is no longer
open for business. When I first
moved to Vanastra, the
banking hours mere, long
enough that people could use
the facility after working
hours. The warm friendly at-
mosphere and the prompt
service (no tine-uips) made the
bank popular and convenient.
However, . after the banking
hours were reduced, most
businesses and individuals
found the service inconvenient.
Vann' stra has approximately
1.000 residents as well as 26
established businesses. With
payrolls and accounts is thissan
adequate business base for a
bank at Vanastra?

tdcan we say
the Davis government?
Absolutely nothing. it's illegal to say anything.
We are Ontario's crown4 employees and civil servants. Our
political rights are virtually non-existent.
Some of us have tried to become 'active in political parties. We
have been told to quit or be fired.
We think this is ridiculous.
Sore .:of ua support Mr. Davis' party. Naturally, others support
the NDP or the Liberals.
But this doesn't ratter to the government. It simply believes
we should have fewer rights than other citizens.
We dont agree.
What is the harm in our speaking or,writing publicly on issues
such as housing, education and taxes?
Or, what danger is there for us to put up lawn signs, or.
canvass on behalf of a candidate? '
• The government thinks this is wrong. It has made such
activities' illegal.
We believe in basic democtatic rights.
And this won 't cos t taxpayers a .cen t.
We hope you will vote for equal rights ... for
