setting for the marriage of
Mary A. Margaret Phillips
and Stanley Rex Johnston on
Saturday, July 26 at 3 p.m. The
ceremony was performed by
Rev. H.'. Taragb.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Phillips,
Seaforth and the groom is the
. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ford
Johnston of Varna.
Given in marriage by her
father and mother, the bride.

Organza over taffetta with
Empire waist, high cleckl.ine
and sheer yoke outlined with
Guipure lace.
The shoulders had double
layers of fluting and fluting also
outlined the yoke. The hemline
had a deep flounce which
followed around into the full
chapel train. Pink ribbon and
Guipure lace encircled the
tui,
waist a , c scaded, down the
back of the train. Guipure late
and tiny pink fleurettes were
scattered above the flounce -and -
also encircled the neckband. To
complete the ' ensemble, she
wore a snatching bridal capand
lads -edged veil. She carried a
bouquet of pink _ roses, white
stephanotis, baby pink car-
nations and baby's breath.
Miss Nancy Wilson, Barrie,
was rnaid of honer and the
bridesmaids were Mrs. Agnes
Cowan of Stratford, Miss Diane
Philips of Stratford, sister of
the bride, and Miss Anger
Philips of Seaforth, sister of
the bride. They were dressed in
gamelon pink Swiss dot gowns
with -Clune-y..tate trim circling

The bodices were shirred with
scoop -necks. Matching ruffled
capes toppedthe shoulder)*.
They wore matching
garnelon pink floral headpieces
. and carried bouquets of baby
pink carnation, white tonins
and baWs breath.
Attending ,the bridegroom
were John . Klein Haar of
Strathroy, Alan Johnston of
Goderich, Larry Johnston of
Varna, and Brian Johnston of
Varna, brothers of the
bridegroom. Ushers were Jim
Phillips -and Doug Phillips] of
Toronto, brothers of the bride.
A meal and reception
followed • at the Seaforth Legion
Hall. The parents and bridal
party greeted the guests. The
grooi n's mother wore a mint
green floor -length gown and a
corsage of yellow roses and
baby's breath.
For their wedding trip to
Albe a aitd British Columbia,
`te * 1lci`e `chose a pink and
white pant suit with white
accessories.
The couple will reside at 803
Mill St., Port Elgin, Ontario.
Guests were present from
Toronto. Port Dover, Cam-
bridge, Woodstock, Bayfield,
Kitchener,, Seaforth, Barrie,
Stratford. Clinton, Strathroy, •
Goderich, Kincardine and
London.

Londesboro United Church
was decorated with wrought
iron candelabra, white and
yellow glads, and white and
yellow daisies for the August 16
evening ceremony that united
Raymond Jacobus Rammeloo
of Blyth and Wilma Van Baaren
of RR I, Londesboro.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Pierre Rammeloo of
Blyth and the bride is -the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Van Baaren of RR I,
Londesboro.
Rev. Stanley McDonald,
assisted by Marr Ouellette,
performed the double -ring
ceremony. while Mrs. Barbara
- Bosman Was thedrganist:
For the ceremony, the bride
- chose a floor -length gown of
polyester that featured a high
waistline with a white satin
ribbon falling at the back with
long streamer. It also featured
long bishop sleeves with wide
cuffs, a rounded neckline, a
gathered frill around the
bottom, andAt cathedral Arab),
The dregs was trirnmedaroollaz
the neckline, cuffs, and bottom
with imported Belgium lace,
and a circular shoulder length
veil edged with daisies was held
in place by a Juliet cap. She
carried a bouquet of yellow
roses, yellow and white daisies,
and blue stephanotis.
The maid of honour wa* Anne
Van Baaren of Stratford, sister
of the bride, and she wore a
blue halter dress with matching
bolero • jacket. Her bouquet
consisted of yellow and white
daisies with blue and white
streamers.
The attendants were Julia
Van aarerl and, Audrey
B ` i sto lel; si3"ateis of the
bri , and both were attired
similarly to the mailtt of honor;
except inyellow.
The best man was Richard
Konarski of RR 1,. Blyth and the
ushers were Perry Rammeloo,
the groom's brother, and Jack
Van Baaren,the bride's
brother.
Following the wedding, the
reception was held at the
Clinton Legion, where a -three -
tiered wedding cake decorated
the head table.
Greeting the guests were the
bride's - mother, who wore a
floor -length pink gown with
longsheer sleeves, and the
groom's mother, who wore a
floor -length . gown of floral
design on a beige background.
Guests were present from
Chatham, Ridgetown, Exeter,
Salmon Arm, B.C. and the
bride's cousins from Holland,
and the surrounding area.
For a wedding trip to points
north, the bride changed into a
peach colored knee-length skirt
with matching short sleeved
shirt with white accessories
and a corsage' of white car-
nations.
The couple are residing' at
RR 4, Brussels.

Raay and Mrs. Corrie LeClair,
the groom's aunts of Chatham,

from which institution he also received his Uonourary 0.0.
He took post -graduate work at Garrett Seminary, Nor-
thwestern University and the University .of Ch$tta'noega. He
taught at the Providence, Rhode Island, Bible institute and
later served as President of the South Eastern Bible College.
Birmingham. Alabama, for 14 years. He then became
President of Trinity Schools, Atlanta, Georgia, and pastured
an Alliance Church there. Dr. Seidenspinner was called to the
Central Alliance Church, Ottawa: in 1963 and since 1972 he
has been President of the Missionary Church's Emmanuel
Bible College in Kitchener. He is a well-known conference
speaker and was active , in the National Association of
Evangelicals in the United States. He is a member of the
Board of their World Relief Commission: in Canada. He has.
served an the General Council of EFC since 1972.
