Hand caught
Ian Mackenzie had the good
fortune last week to land a
lovely fish, but not with a hook
and line. ,
Ian was walking along the
Federal Dock when he spotted
a fish caught in a willow tree
that had come down the River
and lodged itself. He reached
out grabbed the fish with his
hands, threw it onto.the dock,
scrambled back up, picked up
the fish and took the fish, still
kicking, to the home of his
grandparents, Rev. George and
Mrs. Youmatoff.
Grandpa duly filleted the two
pound bass and the tasty
morsel was enjoyed for lunch.
(According to Grandpa, Ian
declined the invitation to eat
any of it.)
There were fasblons front many periods last Wednesday at
