During Cen- tennial year 1967 we sponsored an Art Showing. Each year. we help with the Winter Carnival. Also we campaign for the Arthritis Society and in the past the "Mardi of Dimes. • Each November our members man the Hospital Cart. Over the years we have furnished a ''Sun Room", zonated a croupette. and a itc mopheliac bed, and made tray livors at the Clinton Hospital. l-luronview Is one of our pet -ervice projects over the past -fight years pr so. We have helped at teas and Birthday parties; ,ang Carols at Christmas and written tetters for the aged who .u -e unable to write. Two years ago vire adopted 20 of the ladies as Grandmothers and • remember t em " apt tay t n. -We -have Melted them to juin us for cards ,and dessert: also we have treated them to Pot Luck dinners. Recently we donated 8500.00 towards the purchase of a Van for lfuronview. In the past we have gone with our Kinsmen to the Gi derich Nychiatric , Hospital to_ play !lingo with the patients. During Minor ,, Hockey 'Weekends Of the past years we have served many meats to .tmbi•iaus and ene: otic young hockey players. The Kinetics instigated Girls' 1t ockey and Baseball in the town. and provided coaches and funds For these teams. • We try to participate in any of " the town `a activities, providing floats for parades. aiding at.. Blood Donor Clinics and providing frefreshnient for cqurses held at the Palle Mont. We've been a busy gcaup over the years. during which time. the cost of sponsoring a project has just about doubled. Along with working hardy we hate managed to have lots of fun too. We even had a dance instructor at one point in time - and alt came out Ii'iur-lurray tapes!
