p.m. for the lovely wedding,
uniting in marriage Brenda
*Lois Wise and Harvey
Courtland George Cleave.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Wise
RR3, Clinton. and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
James Cleave, RR3, Bayfield.
The Rev. George Yournatoff,
rector of the parish, officiated,
and Mrs. Sarah Storey was
• organist and accompanied Mrs.
orothy Dumont of London,
who sang -TheWedding
Prayer". "The Lord's Prayer"
-and "We've Only Just Begun".
The bride entered the churck
on the arm of her father. She
wore a floor -length gown of
Pat* taffeta, ‘, -designed on
Prineess lines, featuring long
lily point sleeves in sheer
organza, high necktilie,' and
was „,enhanced with -"Gupuire
lace motifs op, the yoke. ' The
•skirt wa fully • flared at the
bottom, and fell into a graceful
cathedral -length train, lavishly
trimmed with matching lace.
Her headpiece was a Juliet cap
•edged with lace and iced with
• pearls, and held along bouffant
veil of French illusion net, also
'edged with Gupuire lade.
She cartied a bouquet of
yellow .sweetheart roses, white
shasta daisies and pink
stephanotis. She also wore a
gold cross necklace, a gift ft om
the gniom.
Miss Nancy Koene was maid
of honor. and wore a floor -
length gown of white and yellow
•eyelettecl cotton lace. The
bodice featured a round low
neckline,, with short puffed
sleeves. enhanced with lace
ruffles trimmed with matching
embroidery. A fully flared
skirt finished -at waist with a
narrow yellow satin ribbon with
• long streamers.
Miss Marilyn Cleave. sister,
of the groom. and. Miss
Christine Wise, sister of the
bride were bridesmaids, and
were gowns identical in style
and colour to the Maid of
. Honor.
They all wore yellow rosettes
in their hair and carried
nosegays of white and yellow
shasta daisies, pink carnations
and white baby's breath.
The gtoomsman was Dan
,Wise of Orilliaand the ushers
were Stewart Wise, brother of
the bride and Barry Cleave,
brother of thegroom.
Follgering the ceremony, the
reception was held at the White
• Carnation, at Holrnesville,
where the guests were received
by the bride's mother wearing
a- floor -length goWn of orchid
pink crepe with, hatter. neck
bodice,bigh neckline and flared
skirt. Accenting the gown was
a long-sleeved jacket of heavy
Swiss lace, trimmed at waist
with a wide shirred band. She
wore white accessories and a
corsage of white carnations and
blue stephanotis and matching
hair piece.
• The groom's mother assisted
wearing a floor -length gown of
floral crepe oi peachy -orange
tones. The gown was
sleeveless, with V -neckline and
full skirt . with a floating panel
falling from shoulder. She
wore gold accessories and a
corsage of yellow carnations.
The bride's table was centred
by a three tiered wedding cake.
Rev. George ,Yournistra,
presided as • Master of
Ceremonies and George Wise of
Orillia, proposed the toast to
the bride. 'The Rising Sun"
provided the music for the
dance which followed.
For travelling, the bride
changed into a navy. white and
red riress, with shirred bodice
and puff -sleeves. She wore
white accessories and a cor-
sage of red carnations. s
The couple-ivill-be residing in
Timinins where the groom is
employed by the ministry of
na tura 1 resources.

Wayne Cantelon and Esther
Merrill were married in
Bayfield with the sky aboveand
the grass at their feet in a
wedding ceremony performed
by Rev. James Reddoch on the
-
lawn of the bride's parents'
home on July 5.
The groom, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. George Cantelon of
RR 3, Seaforth and the bride,
the daughter of Mr.' and Mrs.
Ross Merrill, were married in a
double ring ceremony amid the -
several baskets of assorted
garden flowers that completed
the setting of the wedding
scene.
The bride made her own
gown which was styled with a
V-neckline„long gathered
sleeves the cuffs and bodice
an empire wais, a a floor
matching the gowtinaterial,
length skirt that scooped. into a
long train. There was flounce
around the hem and a trim of
lace. A two-tiered headpiece,
also edged in lace, held her veil.
She carried a bouquet of multi-
colored shasta daisies and
pink sweetheart roses.
The matron of honour„, Helen
Keys of RR 1, Verna, wore
floor length gown of multi-
coloured floral sheer with a
white underlay. it was styled
with a V-rieckline, puffed
- sleeves and an empire waist.
She carried a basket of multi-
coloured shasta daisies.
Tbe bridesmaids„ who were
similarly attired to the matron
of honour, were Faye Cantelona;
the groom's - sister, Mrs.
Barbara Brown, of Kitehener,
the bride's cuIn, and Mrs.
Karen Quinn of Arkona.
The groom's cousin, Ervin
Keys was the best man. The
groom was attended by Bill and
Mark Cantelon, his brothers,

and the brothr of the bride,
Gordon Merrf Vancouver,
and Brian Merrill of
'Mississauga.
• An outdoor garden reception
followed the • wedding
ceremony.
The couple travelled to
Western Canada for their
honeymoon and will return to
make their home at RR 1 ,
Biuevale.
Mary Jane Kinsley �f Windsor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
V Mien of Windier and Ross Coutts, son of the late John
Coutts and Mrs. L. Coutts of Seaforth, were joined in
liarriage by Rev. G. Youmatoff at a Mariners wedding
Aboard the yacht "Echo" at the Bayfield Yacht club. Best
man was Donald Coutts, brother of the groom, and the maid
ii honour Mrs. Barbara Beaktey. A reception followed at the
