Maria Kuttner of Halifax
served as bridesmaids.
Best man was Gordon Paled'
Clinton, the groom's brother.
Ushers were John Mackey, Rob
Gordon of " Stratford, and
Nelson Dale.
Robert Stoner of 'Blenheim
was the soloist.
Following. a reception and
once at the N anderley Golf
and Country Club, the couple
left on a trip to Spain.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale will reside

daisies.
Maid of honour was Marilyn
Rodges, London, sister of the
bride gowned in yellow
polyester with a matching hat
and carryinga bouquet of
shasta daisies and yellow
carnations.
The bridesmaids were Janet
Rodges,- London, sister of the
bride and Marie Ferguson,
`Goderich, cousin of the bride in
matching dresses and hats of
pink and blue respectively.
They carried bouquets to
snatch their dresses.

Sperling of Forestd a friend of
the groom and the guests were
ushered by David Rodges
brother of the bride and Alvin
Masser), Delhi, friend of the
groom.
The reception followed at the
Little Inn, Bayfield. The couple
are residing en the groom's
farm RR 3, Walton.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Mason, who were married at Ontario
Street United Church on June 21, are making ter home in
Clinton: The bride is the former Pew Harris, daughter of Mrs.

The Huronview Rhythm
Band helped. to provide the
music' for Monday afternoon's
'get together and were ac-
companied by Elsie Henderson.
With the temperature in the
eighties, everyone enjoyed the
music of the Clinton Legion
Pipe Band on Tuesday evening.
Th band used the front
parking lot and drive for their
marching numbers with one
special number for Walter
Kingswell, on his 97th, birthday.
Ten residents who are
members of the Goderich
Octogenarian Club attended the
• annual picnic at the Saltford
Valley Hall on Wednesday
afternoon. This . club. ; is- spon-
sped by the Kinsmen and
Kinettes and is appreciated by
all the Goderich residents over
80.
-The Elimville Women's
Institute were hosts -for the July
Birthday Party. The program
included a sing song, in-
strumentals by Cecil Skinner
accompanied by Mrs, Bullock
duet numbers by Clifford
Jaques and La Verne Rodd.
,. The 26 celebrants were
presented with gifts and the
ladies served lemonade and
birthday cake to 100 residents
and guests. Mrs. Waghorn a
former member of theinstitute
expressed the appreciation of
the residents.
Knox Presbyterian Chapel
was the setting for the
marriage of Carla Ellen Elliott
and Jarle Stephen Fisher. on
June 34. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. Lockart
Royal with Bill Cameron
presiding at the ergan.
The bride is they youngest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford Elliott of Goderith and -
Mr. and Mrs. 'John Fisher of
Clinton are the parents of the
groom.
Given. in marriage by her
parents., the bride looked lovefy
in a cream peau de sole, full
length gown of her own making.
The tucked bodice , and long
flared skirt were enhanced with
a self -belt and back bow, and a
square neck with shaped band.
The long gathered sleeves were
trimmed withtiny covered
buttons and lace. The edge of
_ the full-length silk illusion veil
was hand embroidered, and it
fell softly from a barid tipped
with flowers and leaves made
of cream peau de soie.. The
bride carried a nosegay of
.cream roses and baby's breath
backed with greenery and
cream ribbon. or •
Cynthia Fisher, friend of the
bride. was, maid of honor. Her
Yv dress was long and, similar in
style to the bride's, but with
`small blue flowers on a cream
background. She wore a silver
locket. a gift from the bride and
carried a nosegay of white
daisies. baby's breath and
.4mail deep blue flowers to
match those in her dress.
Narrow blue bows and
streamers completed the
bouquet.
Groomsman was John De
Hong of Komoka. friend of the
groom.
After the ceremony the bride
and groom with their parents
received their guests at the
home of the bride's parents.
For a 'motor trip north. the
bride chose blue pants and a
€Io Bred top of the same shade
and carried a cream jacket.
Her corsage was a gardenia. a
gift from the Flower Basket.
Mr, ofd. Mrs. Fisher will
reside in Clinton.
Prior to ' her wedding the
bride Was guest of honor at
several showers. Mrs. Ken
• Millar and Miss Nancy Fisher
hosted a -shower at the home of
Mrs. John, Fisher. Clinton. Miss
Cynthia Fisher held a shower at
her mother's home for the bride
and her friends_'
Mr. and Mrs. Johne Fisher
entertained the bridal party at
their home after the wedding
