June 10th.
Mrs. Eria Coleman presided

The Afternoon Unit of
Wesley -Willis United Church
met in the church parlour on
June 19 with 20 members and
three visitors present. The
president, Mrs. C. Stewart
welcomed all, and opened the
meeting with a poem.' The
minutes were read and adopted
and the treasurer's report was
given. The offering was
received and dedicated.
Arrangements were made to
serve meals on July 12 and to
help accordingly. On July 26,
Air Force Parade Day, the
UCW expects to have a food
booth on the church lawn and
made arrangements for its
organization. On the August 3
Centennial weekend,lunch will
be served after the morning
'church service.'The UCW has
also been asked to provide
baking for the bake table at the
August 23 Craft Show.
Since it was decided not to
hold meetings in July and
August, except for these special
functions, arrangements for.
the Thankoffering and the

the meeting and read a poem
composed by Rev. Charles Con.
The roll call' was "Name an
item of interest of 100 years
ago," and many historical facts
were revealed. Mrs. Jervis
gave a paper on Dr. Osborne's
talk on. St. 'Paul. She also
related a visit she recently had
from her nephew who has been
serving in Korea, and some of
the facts of living over there.
