The weatherman was rather
unkind as :there was a. thun-
derstorm early that evening
and the hydro was off at the
'Tebbutt home while the rest of
• the neighbours had lights.
Since,we were unable to quilt,
everyone had a visit before the
meeting started. •
. The president, Linda Jones,
led the members in repeating
the Creed . and The Lord's
Prayer. Madelaine Bartlett
read the minutes of the May
meeting and, Roll Call was
answered by fourteen members
and one visitor with "I am or I
am not going on the Bus Trip on
June eighteenth". There was
an exchange -of plant slips also.
.Norene Tebbutt gave the
treasurer's report.
The bus trip was then
di$cussed and final plans made.
Tfie trieiiibers decided to give
$15.00 to the Kennedy Fire
Fund. , r
The September meeting will
be held at Madelaine-Bprtletts.
The date will be decided later.
The annual Community
Picnic was to be held on June
twenty-second in the Seaforth
Park. The meeting closed with

Jean Lobb has been away for
a month visiting relatives.
